WHERE
For our third installation, Great Mural partnered with Saginaw Bay WIN and MARKedARTs artist collective on a mural that encompasses the entirety of the east side of the Court Street Bridge Underpass. This mural is accessible by and active walk and bike path that runs along this side of the river. Already we've seen so many families coming to check out and interact with the mural, just as our artists designed. Our environmentalist advisors coordinated by Saginaw Bay WIN worked with artist Mark Piotrowski to design the perfect images to celebrate the Saginaw Bay Watershed.
WHO
Saginaw Bay WIN is the generous primary funder, with additional support from the City of Saginaw, Saginaw County Parks and Recreation and Northeastern Paint. The Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network (WIN) is a community-based, voluntary initiative that connects people, resources, organizations, and programs. The City of Saginaw approved the mural installation and helped prepare the site for paint. Our most loyal supporter, Saginaw County Parks and Recreation came through at a tough spot to save the day.
